ASME INTERNATIONAL

BFI is certified to perform field and shop fabrication of Pressure Vessels in accordance with the ASME Code. Our company is also certified for the field and shop repair and alterations of pressure retaining items in accordance with ASME INTERNATIONAL Code.
Having demonstrated competence to perform work within the scope of the ASME Code, we are authorized to use the: ASME "U" stamp - for the field and shop fabrication of Pressure Vessels and ASME "S" stamp - Covers the fabrication and the installation on site of high pressure boilers, of high temperature boiler tubes, of piping including accessories.

ISO 9001:2000 is an international standard that gives requirements for an organization's Quality Management System ("QMS").
The requirements cover a wide range of topics, including your supplier's top management commitment to quality, its customer focus, adequacy of its resources, employee competence, process management (for production, service delivery and relevant administrative and support processes), quality planning, product design, review of incoming orders, purchasing, monitoring and measurement of its processes and products, calibration of measuring equipment, processes to resolve customer complaints, corrective/preventive actions and a requirement to drive continual improvement of the QMS.

BFI employs CWB certified welders and has performed work using many different processes, to a large variety of materials. Through the Canadian Welding Bureau, we are certified according to CSA Standard W47.1.

CANADA Alberta: As authorized by the Alberta Government, ABSA is responsible for the administration and delivery of safety programs related to boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping systems in Alberta.
